Max Neuhaus created Suspended Sound Line, a permanent sound installation, in 1999 on the footbridge at Lorrianstrasse 1, Berne, Switzerland. Neuhas' concept is that the sounds become an inseparable part of our sonic environment. In his words, the sound "is a part of the structure ... as if the sound was another element of construction, like steel and concrete ..."
